The man without a purpose is like a ship without a rudder…Have a purpose in life, and having it, throw such strength of mind and muscle into your works as God has given you.
-THOMAS CARLYLE
The name "Servant Investments" was chosen because of a belief
that our purpose is to serve- we are dedicated to providing
high touch, personal service, to our investors and to the clients
we represent. Additionally, it also stands for the type of servant
leadership we want to demonstrate in everything we do. "Servant"
not only reflects the perspective we strive to have with our
clients, but also our desire to demonstrate service by giving
back to the community in which we live and work. To us, this
means going beyond giving of our resources, but also giving
of our time, serving organizations and causes that we believe
in, laboring side by side, together as a corporate team. We
share these photos and stories with you because of how incredibly
meaningful these experiences were in each of our lives personally,
and also to us as the Servant Investments' team.
This past summer, Robb and his daughter Annalee traveled to China for several weeks as
a part of A Mother’s Love ministry. They volunteered at a Bring Me Hope
camp in Xi'an. In total, there were 20 orphans, 18 volunteers, and 15 translators who bonded
quickly and had an incredible 5 days together. They played in fountains, made crafts, ate meals together,
and even had a talent show! Words cannot express the impact this 5-day camp had on all of
us and our translators.

Another part of their trip was to help the Hope Healing Home in Beijing.
Annalee is holding one of the children which just had casting tape placed to help
mend his club foot. The Chapins had raised money prior to the trip to purchase 40
boxes of the tape to take with them. The tape is nearly impossible to obtain in
China and it was an amazing to see how this simple taping process corrects the physical
abnormality, so common for babies in the orphanage.
Through the years, there has been another project close to the hearts of the Servant team
called Mission Emanuel, which is an ongoing Dominican Republic outreach ministry
of The Gathering.
This project brings together individuals from all over the world in order to improve the lives
of the Dominican people by providing health care, education, better living conditions, etc.
Servant helped with a water purification facility which was constructed there.

To date, co-founder Rick Steinberger and his family, travel regularly to the Dominican Republic
to work for this cause. They have been actively involved with construction projects, children's
ministries, and establishing relationships with families through their repeated trips.
Through the years, we have had several community service partners. One year we chose the Orlando
Rescue Mission, located just a few blocks from our offices in downtown Orlando. The Mission's
doors are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to provide services to the homeless in our community.
The organization's primary purpose is to restore residents' lives emotionally and spiritually through
counseling, education, work discipline, and job training, in order for them to achieve productive,
self-sufficient lifestyles.

Additionally, we had a corporate work day at Orlando’s Give Kids the World which grants wishes
to families from all over the world who have a child suffering from a terminal illness.
The families get to stay free of charge in the Village with a week to visit the theme parks.
While staying at the village all their meals are provided and in the evening there are games
and activities, all staffed through volunteers. Our team operated in various roles which included
serving meals, cleaning up, and assisting with games for the children.
